These databases include:
  1. Atomic Learning - web-based software training for more than 100 applications with short, easy to view and understand tutorials providing anytime, anywhere professional development
  2. BrainPop and BrainPop Jr.- provides more 600 animated movies covering a variety of content areas with interactive quizzes for accessment and enrichment like experiments and creative activities supplementing the movies with a Spanish component
  3. CultureGrams - provides cultural, historical and geographical information on countries around the world
  4. Nettrekker - contains over 180,000 of the best online resources, aligned with state standards, organized by readability and grade level - safe, age-appropriate and academically relevant
  5. Newspaper Archive - largest historical newspaper database online
  6. Opposing Viewpoints(middle and high school) - provides more than 8,700 pro/con viewpoint articles and more than 140 full text journals, plus topic overviews, primary source documents, biographies of social activists/reformers, court case overviews, statistical charts/tables, images, podcasts, web links and more
  7. Science Resource Center - provides topic overviews, experiments, biographies, pictures and the latest in scientific developments from over 200 magazines and academic journals with links to web resources
  8. SIRS Discoverer(elementary and middle schools) - General reference database for children in grades 1-9 with full text articles and images used to differentiate instruction
  9. SIRS Knowledge Source(middle and high schools) - a collection of six databases for students in grades 6-12 with full text articles, graphics, photographs, government documents, ebooks and previewed web sites
  10. Student Resource Center - provides magazine and newspaper articles, primary source documents, multimedia content and the Gale "Discovering", "Exploring", and "Junior Reference Series".
  11. Teaching Books.net - contains original movies revealing the book creation, audio excerpts of professional readings and book guides
  12. World Book Web Complete Suite - World Book Advanced, World Book Student, World Book Kids, Encyclopedia Estudiantil Hallazgos, World Book Dictionary and World Book Atlas
Another helpful resource is RetrieveIt where Instructional Technology and other content areas provide resources and materials for educators to enhance their knowledge of policies, procedures and curriculum.
